Certificate in Jewish Heritage

With its two-year MA program in Cultural Heritage Studies and its Jewish Studies Specialization, CEU is a unique environment for the academic study of Jewish heritage and heritage policies. A joint teaching track exists since 2015, and from January to April 2024, the two units will offer for the first time a Graduate Course in Jewish Heritage consisting of a seminar class, two three-day excursions to Jewish sites and heritage institutions in Austria and in Hungary, as well as lectures and guided tours by heritage professionals. The Graduate course will be open to both CEU students and external students who may participate online in the classroom sessions.
