Ivan Sanders

Ivan Sanders  is Professor Emeritus of English at Suffolk College, SUNY, and Adjunct Professor at Columbia University's East Central European Center. He has also taught at the New School University, the Central European University and the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. He is the prize-winning translator (Füst Milán Prize, Déry Tibor Prize, Soros Translation Award) of works by George Konrád, Péter Nádas, Péter Esterházy, Miklós Mészöly, Ádám Bodor and others. His studies and essays on Jewish literary topics have appeared in Judaism, Jewish Social Studies, Soviet Jewish Affairs, The Hungarian Quarterly, Múlt és Jövő and other journals.
